Born on September 13, 1990, in Willmar, Minnesota, Natasha was the beloved daughter of Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins. She was baptized at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed her faith at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Natasha grew up in Willmar, where she thrived as an active member of her high school community. She was a dedicated participant in the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track, and the FFA (Future Farmers of America).
After graduating from Willmar High School in 2009, Natasha pursued a career in nursing. She completed her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree at Ridgewater College, followed by a Registered Nurse (RN) degree from Rasmussen College in St. Cloud. Natasha continued to pursue higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mankato State University. In August 2023, she achieved her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) degree from the University of North Dakota, a testament to her lifelong commitment to learning and helping others.
Professional Life
Natasha’s career in healthcare was a reflection of her deep compassion and desire to make a difference. She started her role as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in November 2023. Known for her caring nature, Natasha made a significant impact on the patients she served, always going above and beyond to provide compassionate care.
Family Life
On July 7, 2012, Natasha married the love of her life, Matthew Fester, at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Together, they had four beautiful children: Mason (12), Marshel (8), Maxton (5), and MaKinlee (3). Natasha was a devoted mother, always present at her children’s sporting events, go-kart races, and other activities. Her children were her greatest joy, and she was their biggest cheerleader.
In addition to her role as a mother, Natasha enjoyed DIY projects and had a special bond with her father, Jeff, who affectionately nicknamed her “Harold.” She treasured her family and was deeply committed to nurturing her relationships with her loved ones.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on March 18, 2024, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar, Minnesota, where Natasha had been a lifelong member. Visitation took place on March 17, 2024, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. In lieu of flowers, memorials were preferred to the “Fester children” fund.
